Negotiation Tips for Home Buyers

When buying real estate, it is important to know how the negotiation process works and how this can affect the outcome of the transaction, sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse.

The first step is to make sure you have a motivated seller. There is no use wasting your time on a seller that is not really motivated. You will become aware of this by his/her willingness to meet with you or to show you the house. If they don’t seem too keen to be helpful to you, chances are they don’t really want to sell the house so they will ask a ridiculous amount of money for something that is not worth it. Just move on and stop wasting your time.
